The Jordan Retro 4 SE “Craft” Photon Dust/Pale Vanilla/Off-White men’s and grade school kids’ shoes drop February 11.
Let’s all agree that 2023 is the year to tiptoe in quietly and temper our expectations. So far so good (and we knock on wood). This February, however, the Jumpman treads lightly with its latest muted-toned colorway.
The “Craft” version of the Air Jordan 4 Retro Special Edition launches at Hibbett | City Gear beginning February 11. Available in men’s and grade school kids’ sizes, these kicks drop in shades of grey and white. Photon Dust, Pale Vanilla and off-white dress this sneaker in rich textures.
The upper features a whisper of smooth, grey leather that creates a foundation of stability. Gridded, nappy suede informs much of the midfoot and lacing system, with nappy Photon Dust suede overlays along the toe box.
Rubber gum-like eyestays anchor the top and bottom of the lacing system, keeping the foot locked down by way of darker grey laces. A silvery grey nylon tongue tag features a Pale Vanilla Jumpman insignia with “Flight” scrawled just below. The heel includes a rubber logo in the same color, set against a darker grey backdrop.
The midsole, which houses the Air-Sole unit, takes on the off-white colorway, contributing to the well-worn appearance of these Air Jordan 4 Retros. Vanilla tones also dress the sockliner and appear on the herringbone traction pattern, along with the shoe’s other colors. The past few years have been challenging for many but the latest Air Jordan 4 Retro SE “Craft” sneaker, with its soothing colors and familiar materials, promises comfort and unfussy style perfect for 2023.
