The Jordan XXXVI “Bred” White/University Red/Black men’s and grade school kids’ basketball shoe launches October 22 at Hibbett | City Gear.
Zoom across the court in the lightest Air Jordan basketball shoe ever. The latest from the Jumpman brand takes heritage colorways and applies them to a lightweight silhouette for a shoe that’s both stylish and functional. The white, University Red and black Air Jordan 36 sneakers drop October 22 in grade school kids’ and men’s sizes.
A loosely woven, minimal mesh strengthens the shoe’s upper, further structured with a TPU ribbon that separates the upper from the midsole. Both features contribute to the stable fit of the shoe, ideal for side-to-side game movement. A nubuck collar cradles the ankle, and a lacing system with concealed eyelets bolsters the snugness of the Air Jordan 36.
Flexible and neoprene-like, the tongue of this shoe protects the top of the foot, perfect for the comfort of both young players and aspiring NBA stars. A full-length Zoom Air unit provides exceptional responsiveness affixed directly to the upper. An additional Zoom unit stacked at the ball of the foot makes for soft landings during tip-offs and dunks.
The hollowed-out midfoot region is instrumental in keeping players light on their toes, while a plastic shank plate further promotes stability (and helps reduce injury) for those lightning-fast court movements. A multidirectional herringbone outsole features Jumpman branding and provides a window into the heel’s Air Zoom.
