The Jordan XXXVI “Heatwave” Black/Laser Orange/Deadly Pink colorway launches April 21 in men’s and grade school kids’ sizes at Hibbett | City Gear.

The Jordan 36 “Heatwave” draws direct inspiration from OG retro style with a mix of Black, Laser Orange and Deadly Pink. You’ll look as fresh as MJ did when he powered the Bulls to his first NBA championship.

You’ll notice the typical Jacquard Leno-Weave upper is on this shoe, keeping things crisp and classy. It wraps around the toe, middle and heel. Covering the laces is an oversized black tongue tab, proudly showcasing a Laser Orange Jumpman logo front and center. Perforations at the top of the tongue add visual appeal.

There’s also a black overlay around the ankle and heel. It gives way to a black heel tab featuring a cursive scrawl that reads “Thirtysix.” You also can’t miss the small tab to the left of the heel with a Laser Orange infinity symbol. That motif is repeated with the TPU ribbon that wraps around the midsole. It’s meant to symbolize His Airness’s lasting impact on both culture and the game of basketball.

A full-length Zoom Air Strobel unit is stitched directly to the upper to give you the highest comfort possible without making the shoe too heavy. It’s paired with a Zoom Air unit under the forefoot for even more explosiveness on the court. Beneath this is a translucent outsole featuring another Jumpman logo in the traction pattern.

All in all, this shoe is a must-have for ballers and fans of MJ. Its multi-toned color palette is neutral enough that you can wear it with pretty much any uniform—or even with some sweats and a tank for your off days. Go full retro by pairing it with a Jordan jersey.
