The Jordan XXXVII “White/Black/Citrus” men’s basketball shoe drops November 3 at Hibbett | City Gear.

Crash. Load. Launch. That’s the motto of the new Air Jordan 37 that was released earlier this year. Rather than focusing solely on flight, like the previous 36 iterations, this shoe goes to the next level with protection for each step of leaving the earth.

Senior product line manager Chad Troyer noted that this shoe is meant to be the ultimate hybrid… which perhaps explains the latest colorway. The new Jordan 37 “Oreo” is the perfect mashup of chocolate cookie and creamy icing. Covered in white and black accents, the shoe looks good enough to eat.

A white Lenoweave upper that’s inspired by the retro Jordan 7 is meant to be lightweight and breathable. The pattern is inspired by West African basket weaving techniques, with see-through panels across the front and sides of the shoe. Underneath, you’ll see a series of white TPU support squiggles on a black base. 

An extra-thick white sole with black speckling features Formula 23 foam in the midsole for extra cushioning as you land. There’s also a carbon fiber plate along the midfoot and a Zoom Air unit at the forefoot for even more zoom. 

Black and white striped laces criss-cross over an all-black tongue which features a white embroidered Jumpman at the top. Black ankle padding rounds the top of the shoe all the way to the black heel tab. This features a Citrus Jumpman along with MJ’s prominent signature in white. Beneath this, a translucent heel clip adds a tad more stability.

The outsole is a smashing combination of white and black shapes. At the heel is one more oversized Citrus Jumpman in his eternal reach toward the basket. Black and white is a subtle combo, meaning you can really pair this shoe with any of your favorite basketball gear. We recommend white crew socks, red joggers and a black hoodie for pre-game warmups. Then, when it’s time for game action, switch over to gray shorts and your team’s jersey to look fresh at His Airness himself.

The Jordan 37 “Oreo” was perfected at the Nike Sport Research Lab with a team dedicated to continuing MJ’s legacy. It’ll launch you to new heights when it debuts in men’s sizes on November 3, online and at your local Hibbett | City Gear.
