Sneakers Release – Kids’ Nike Dunk Low “101” or “Safety Orange” Colorway Launching July 1

Jun 24, 2022

The Dunk Low has been a huge hit for Nike, from its early basketball days through its skateboard phase and all the way to today’s collector status. Part of that is because Nike is constantly dropping new colorways in this series—including three new ones this summer.

Upcoming releases include the Dunk Low”101,” “Scratch Off Coin,” and “Valerian Blue.” All three were set to release together on July 1, but launch dates have shifted to later in the year for two styles. The kids’ Nike Dunk Low “101” or “Safety Orange” colorway is the exception, launching on Friday, July 1.

The Dunk Low “101” comes painted in a White/Black/Safety Orange color palette perfect for kickstarting budding sneakerheads’ collections. A cracked white leather base offers a weathered touch. On top of this are colorful overlays—orange at the toe and heel, green along the laces and blue along the ankle—for a touch of excitement to this youthful kids’ release.

The middle has the outline of a Swoosh in black embroidery, and the seemingly hand-stitched Nike log stands out in black on the heel. The same Nike logo is on the white tongue in black, as well as on the mint green insole. A white midsole and translucent tan outsole round out the kick.

These design elements, specifically the exaggerated stitching ng that forms the outline of the Nike Swoosh on its side and dotted stitching throughout the laces, lend even more to this crayon-box-colored Dunk Low.

Shop the new Nike Dunk Low “101” White/Black/Saftey Orange colorway in grade school and preschool kids’ sizes on July 1 at your local Hibbett or City Gear store, or from anywhere online at Hibbett.com.
