On April 9, take on the world with a pair of the brand-new Nike Air Max 2090 women’s sneakers available in a white, black, Pink Foam and Lotus Pink colorway. Fun, feminine and super-edgy, these rave-worthy sneakers live up to the hype.
Inspired by the iconic Air Max 90 and rolled out on the 30th anniversary of the Air Max line, the 2090 takes elements from the original sneaker and emboldens them with newer, more prominent features — like 200% more visible Air underfoot. Swapping out the color-blocked Air Max 90 upper, the 2090 gets a lighter touch thanks to layers of transparent mesh and vibrant textures that support the foot.
The speed-lacing system makes for a seamless get-up-and-go shoe, while pull tabs at the tongue and heel reinforce the easy on, easy off package. The sneaker’s internal bootie and padded heel position the foot for comfort, and is bolstered by a Cushlon foam midsole. Like the Air Max 90, a rubber window frames the 2090’s Air unit, complete with ribbed textures that contribute to the futuristic aesthetic of the sneaker.
Other features like the rubber waffle sole, recessed heel Air logo and cropped Swoosh hearken back to the Air Max 90 with distinct 2090 details.
