The Air Max 720’s Air unit runs the length of the outsole and is the tallest to date, at 38 millimeters high, which offers the wearer plenty of bounce, cushioning and comfort.
Nike built the cutting-edge shoe around the idea of the 360-degree visibility of the 720’s Air unit. The 720’s colorways offer a muted yet classic look, balancing out the shoe’s futuristic vibe. Along with the Max Air unit, the shoe gets some of its stability and structure from mesh pods located on the shoe’s medial and lateral sides. The molded line of the upper, which extends out from those pods, creates a wavelike design. Durable traction comes from the rubber waffle-inspired outsole.
