Nike built the cutting-edge shoe around the idea of the 360-degree visibility of the 720’s Air unit. Many of the 720’s colorways offer a muted yet classic look, balancing out the shoe’s futuristic vibe. Along with the Max Air unit, the shoe gets some of its stability and structure from mesh pods located on the shoe’s medial and lateral sides. The molded line of the upper, which extends out from those pods, creates a wavelike design. Durable traction comes from the rubber, waffle-inspired outsole.
