The knit upper lands in a dark, charcoal grey and orange-red blurred pattern with raised black stitching that adds structure along the material. Solid black, tighter-stitched knit lines the toe in flame-like fashion. Black, satiny material provides a plush top-of-foot padding, with a Swoosh-mouthed, cartoon-like orange mascot holding a basketball.

3D orange Swooshes swoop along the shoe’s quarter panels. The heel includes a collegiate-style emblem for Nike University set just above the accordion-like heel counter. Cutting-edge cushioning and Air create responsiveness thanks to a heel-located Zoom Air unit stacked with Air Zoom Strobel, a Nike React insole and soft foam. Built in the upper’s lining, the inner cage takes its inspiration from the shape of a butterfly, providing stability and lockdown, aided by a heel clip.
