Layered texture. Bold shapes. Surreal comfort. Like that floating feeling you experience between sleep and wakefulness, Nike delivers a dreamlike sneaker in the form of the React Vision.

Beginning June 12, the Nike React Vision sneaker drops in several colorways and sizes. The men’s shoe gets a “Summit White” edition – a synchronous blend of Summit White, black and Barely Volt with sleek silver accents and hints of lime green and purple. The women’s sneaker arrives in a “Pale Ivory/Laser Crimson/Volt” colorway. The kids’ version comes in two different colorways – “Black/White” and “Summit White.”

While the colorways of the Nike React Vision get their inspiration from the vibrant culture and folk art of Mexico, Nike took a futuristic approach to its overall design. Made specifically for runners, Nike React foam delivers buoyant underfoot comfort so anyone can go the extra mile.

Other details add to the streamlined fit and feel. For instance, an ultra-plush tongue contributes to the shoe’s comfort, while uniquely shaped rubber pods on the outsole enhance durability and grip on any running surface. Visible, transparent heel clips add to the foot-stabilizing feel, and the mesh upper gives the wearer breathability.

This past summer, Nike unveiled its D/MS/X line, one collection of several released by the brand that draws inspiration from Nike history. The D/MS/X collection, in particular, pays homage to different sports and cultures, while reinterpreting Nike’s origin story. The React Vision’s style takes a pieced-together approach, with patchwork eyestays, exposed stitching and bright upper underlays peeking through the open Summit White mesh for a DIY aesthetic.

The shoe also gives a nod to the D/M/SX origins on the tongue tab.

The details integrated into the kids’ sneakers are made expressly for kids on the go. The upper blends together layers of mesh — a more tightly woven material sits directly below a looser weave.
