The Reebok Cardi B Leather Jungle women’s shoes are releasing on December 29 at Hibbett | City Gear.
American rapper Cardi B is back at it again. Even though she just gave birth to her first son in September, she’s still finding time to drop new colorways in her collaborative footwear line with Reebok.
Cardi B is no stranger to the mint life. Back in 2018, she rocked a colorful mint bob wig, and she’s also been caught in several mint ball gowns over the course of her career. So it’s no surprise that she’d also want to create a mint sneaker to express her love of the color.
As for the jungle colorway, we’re not totally sure what color that might be. In the past, Reebok has dropped jungle-themed colorways of the Instapump Fury, which featured tropical green ferns covering the majority of the upper. Something similar could be in store for Cardi B’s version, or we might see a complete reimagining based on her unique vibe.
Previous iterations of the Cardi B Classic Leather shoes combined the sportiness of basketball shoes with the fashion-forward toughness that Cardi B exudes in all of her music videos and publicity appearances. Every detail of the shoe was crafted to fit her vibrant personality, from the asymmetrical design (representing her numerous hustles) to the chunky, stacked midsole (representing her multifaceted personality). There are even rounded lugs on the outsole for an extra bit of flair.
A full leather upper looks both chic and functional, especially when you pair it with active wear. In fact, Cardi B also created a matching collection for her previous kicks that includes cropped satin jackets, bodysuits, high-waisted track pants and athletic skirts. We imagine these new kicks would look great with any of these accessories.
