And beginning March 7, you can snag a pair of the Air Max 1s in a hypnotic “Malachite” colorway, which blends the titular green tone with shades of Neutral Grey, black and white. The casual Nike shoes will be available in women’s sizing at Hibbett.

Known for its mesmerizing swirls of color, over the centuries the Malachite stone has symbolized transformation, helped ward off spirits and promoted nature, abundance and healing. Regardless of what you believe, these shoes contain no bad vibes with its straightforward colorway that’s at once eye-catching and as timeless as the sneaker silhouette. 

White mesh informs the base of this sneaker, with fabric paneled overlays in a whisper of Neutral Grey with a platinum sheen. These panels cover the heel and compose the lacing system. A white midsole adds to the cohesiveness of the shoe, complete with the iconic Air-Sole unit that Tinker Hatfield wanted to showcase to the world. 

Impactful Malachite mudguards span the length of the shoe’s lateral side and the forefoot and ankle of the medial. Finished with a flourish of green fabric Swooshes on either side. Malachite eye stays at the top of the shoe, along with green Air Max branding on the tongue, insole and at the heel nicely round out the package for a “vintage-infused-with-freshness” aesthetic. Shiny satin white fabric plays around the ankle, and a blend of white, Malachite and black commingle at the waffle rubber outsole pattern.
