Kyrie Irving has been lighting up the sneakersphere the Kyrie 1 debuted in 2014. It’s hard to believe we’re now hyping up the seventh generation model from this stellar line. The Nike Kyrie 7 packs a powerful punch — just like Mr. 4th Quarter himself — and it’s about to be released in a new colorway.

While the full details of this new basketball shoe are being kept tightly under wraps, we do know that it features Pale Ivory, Chlorine Blue and Black colors and will be released on April 8 in men’s sizes.

It’s a guessing game when it comes to how these colors will be distributed throughout the iconic silhouette, but one thing’s for certain — it’s going to look fierce. Chlorine Blue is a vibrant cyan that gives off tropical ocean vibes that will make you the talk of the court. Pale Ivory and Black are more subdued, but these will be a welcome contrast if Chlorine Blue is the main attraction.

Whatever the color scheme ends up being, the basketball shoe’s internal tech is guaranteed to provide the quality energy return the Kyrie line is known for. Nike designer Ben Nethongkome wanted to help Uncle Drew zip and zoom around the court with ease, so he included a large forefoot Air Zoom Turbo unit to the shoe to give wearers enough pep in their steps so those tight turns around defenders don’t slow them down.

And you can forget about losing your footing duirng dynimic plays thanks to the Kyrie 7’s 360-degree, computer-generated traction pattern. Cut in and out without going down and dominitate your competition with confidence.

The latest Kyrie model comes with mesh details and molded fins that hug your forefoot to give you as close a fit as possible.
