So why not create something that shows off your collection in all its holiday season glory? A little background: In 2015, Connor, of the ConnorTV YouTube channel, got pranked by his dad, @thedad_tv, with a sneaker Christmas tree stacked high with Connor’s footwear collection. This Insta-worthy wonder twinkled with lights and the colorful shoeboxes and sneakers ornamenting the “tree” periphery.
If you want your own Kicksmas tree that garners likes and views, anything goes. Creatively display your shoes during the holidays like some of Hibbett | City Gear’s favorite influencers:
- Photographer/YouTuber/collector Hung Dinh created his own mini version of a Kicksmas tree for the ‘gram using his favorite Nike, adidas and Converse shoes.
- We spy Yeezys and Jordans in the sneaker Christmas tree of @allthingsfr3sh, the account of NY-based sneaker collectors that specialize in shoe restoration.
- YouTuber Romeo Jr.’s Kicksmas tree paid homage to the Nike brand. Its Photoshopped colorful lights play to an admiring audience of stored sneakers. #purefire
- Netherlands-based sneakerhead Jeroen gave fans a peep of his fave 2019 sneaker pickups, including shoes from the Vapormax line and the Jordan 1 Retro High “Travis Scott” shoe.
- It’s no secret Germany-based LeoHoopz is a super fan of basketball kicks. Naughty, nice or a little of both? His Kyrie Irving sneaker-inspired holiday tree, which extends toward the ceiling, checks all three boxes.
- Photog, gamer and sneakerhead Bruno Medino dreams of visions of Nike with his mini branded Nike-themed tree, complete with white lights and garland.
