The Jordan 4 Retro "Frozen Moments" women's shoe drops August 26 at Hibbett | City Gear!
By the time the Air Jordan 4 dropped in 1989, designer Tinker Hatfield was a pro at collaborating with Michael Jordan. Maybe that's why we're still celebrating this highly coveted shoe today with new colorways.
The Jordan 4 Retro "Frozen Moments" looks sleek and soft and uses Light Iron Ore, Sail, Neutral Grey, Metallic Silver and black for a primarily muted palette. Grab it when it drops in women's sizes on August 26.
The name "Frozen Moments" was taken from a 1997 television ad that highlights His Airness' top moments in the NBA. We can see why it fits this shoe well.
Pale gray leather makes up the toe mudguard and turns to a pale gray suede overlay that wraps around the toe, side panels and heel. The base of the shoe is slightly lighter gray leather.
The mesh panels on the side offer breathability and support beneath the iconic Metallic Silver wings. These double as waffle-shaped eyelets holding the ankle laces in place. This waffle eyelet repeats at the bottom of the laces as well.
A silvery logo patch is sewn on the gray tongue, with the word "Flight" stitched in black beneath a pale Jumpman. White ankle padding and insole keep things fresh, as does the white Jumpman on the heel.
Beneath it all is a gray and off-white midsole, along with a white rubber outsole.
This former basketball shoe is best worn as a casual shoe nowadays, and we think it'd look great with a pair of faded and fitted blue jeans.
