Air Jordan 13 Retro "Black Flint" Launching 04/22 Colorway: Black Flint Style: Men's & Kids' Shoe

The Jordan 13 Retro "Black Flint" men's and kids' shoe dropped April 22 at Hibbett | City Gear, and we've got pairs up for grabs!

Michael Jordan was sometimes referred to as the Black Cat because of his laser-fast moves on the court. That precision and skill are what inspired Tinker Hatfield when he designed the Air Jordan 13 — and now, you'll have the chance to embrace it once again.

The Air Jordan Retro 13 "Black Flint" is sleek as a panther, dripping in shades of Black, Flint Grey, University Red and white. It bears a bit of a resemblance to one of the OG colorways, "Flint Grey," that dropped back in 1998 —j ust swapping the blue for black. You'll be able to snag this style in men's, grade school kids', preschool kids' and toddler kids' sizes starting April 22.

These kicks aren't afraid to go big or bold with a white leather base topped with black 3M reflective mesh on the side panels. These black overlays are also dimpled, turning what is essentially a simple design into a work of art. There are also patches of gray suede overlays along the mudguards (particularly on the medial side, which is completely covered), ankle and heel.

A few Jordan accents pop on the white tongue. First is the black tag at the bottom of the lace box that reads "Jordan" in white. Second is the prominent red Jumpman printed on the top of the tongue. The tongue backing and ankle padding are black, which matches the black insole featuring a red Jumpman.

The heel is where this shoe really starts to shine. On the lateral side, you'll see the cat-eye holograph in green, which flashes to show His Airness rushing the hoop.

The Zoom Air midsole has a few patches of gray suede as well, along with typical white outriggers. Under this is a black and white herringbone outsole that'll give you grip whether you're flying down the sidewalk or watching your boys on the hardwood.

While these aren't really meant to be on-court basketball shoes anymore, no one's stopping you from styling them as such. We think they'd look great with white crew socks, black basketball shorts and a red MJ tee. Of course, black jeans are a good fit too.
