The Jordan 3 Retro "Lucky Green" women's shoe drops May 18 at Hibbett | City Gear.

Though St. Patrick's Day is over, that doesn't mean you still can't invoke the luck of the Irish. The new Air Jordan Retro 3 "Lucky Green" colorway certainly has a bit of St. Patty's Day flair with shades of white, Lucky Green, Varsity Red, Cemetery Grey, Anthracite and Sail.

It seems like this shoe might have been inspired by Michael Jordan's historic performance against the Boston Celtics back in the first round of the 1986 NBA playoffs. In that game, he scored 63 points in a double-overtime spectacular — a feat that still wasn't enough to sneak out the win against the lucky Celtics. Whether or not that's true doesn't change the fact that this crisp stunner drops in women's sizes on May 18.

A clean white leather upper covers most of the shoe, with a ventilated ankle collar and eyestay panels giving some visual texture. Naturally, there are also gray elephant print overlays along the mudguard and heel counter. 

Lucky Green eyelets hold white laces into place — these changes to white grommets in the middle and a green grommet at the ankle. The shoes also come with a collector lace keychain that features translucent and green Air branding.

The white tongue has an embroidered red Jumpman front and center. The same emblem repeats on the white insole as well. The heel features gray Air branding along with a Lucky Green midsole clip. Beneath this and at the middle of the shoe, the midsole is a cream color instead. Naturally, there's a peek-a-boo panel in the heel for the Air unit. A rubber gray outsole with green, red and cream detailing completes the look.

These basketball shoes look like they've stepped straight from the '80s even though they're a modern interpretation of the original Tinker Hatfield design. That means white crew socks are a must, along with your favorite pair of oversized shorts and a green tank top.
