The Jordan 2 Retro "Cool Grey" women's shoe dropped May 4 at Hibbett | City Gear, and we've got pairs up for grabs!

The Air Jordan 2 was Michael Jordan's go-to shoe during the 1986-1987 NBA season — and it's the shoe he was wearing during his legendary foul-line dunk. Clearly, the Peter Moore and Bruce Kilgore design is a powerhouse, which explains why it's still being rebooted today.

The new Jordan 2 Retro "Cool Grey" is a completely new colorway that'll be available exclusively in women's sizes. It uses a mix of Cool Grey, Ice Blue and white to create a winter-esque palette and will be dropping on May 4.

While this shoe lacks the imitation iguana skin from the OG models, it still uses a mix of premium nubuck and suede leather on the uppers. Gray leather covers the vamp, while lighter gray suede wings with a light blue outline cover the middle. Noticeably, there isn't a Swoosh in the standard location — something fans of the shoe should already know is missing.

The vamp has a ring of ventilation holes around the lace box, while Ice Blue laces strap up the tall ankle. The gray tongue features the Air Jordan Wings logo embossed in Ice Blue. The back of the tongue includes a small Ice Blue patch with "23" written on it. Gray ankle padding gives way to a gray insole with blue Nike Air branding.

At the back of the shoe is Nike branding stitched in Ice Blue thread. Beneath this is a TPU heel piece in light blue and gray. These wrap around to the midfoot for extra support.

A chunky white midsole wraps almost uniformly around the shoe, narrowing only at the toe. Beneath this, the rubber outsole is lined in gray and light blue. There's a white heel insert with Nike branding, as well as a gray pivot traction circle at the forefoot.

Since this old-school basketball shoe has touches of white throughout, we think it'd look best with matching white crew socks. Then, throw it on with dark gray tapered joggers or maybe a pair of baggy black shorts for a nice casual look.
