The Jordan Luka 2 "Matador" men's shoe drops August 3 at Hibbett | City Gear.

Before Luka Doncic joined the Mavs and became an NBA sensation, he helped lead Real Madrid to a number of accolades. His latest performance basketball shoe under the Jordan brand pays homage to his former team. 

Cop the Jordan Luka 2 drop beginning Aug. 3, offered in a “Matador” colorway that blends Tropical Twist, Barely Green and Washed Teal with embellishments of Metallic Gold. The basketball shoe will launch in men’s sizes.

While perfect for any season, the turquoise tone gives this sneaker a refreshing summertime vibe — like dipping your feet into a cool pool or ocean. Mesh appears along the toe and sides of the shoe, complete with stitched lines and light-green suede overlays that contribute to the upper’s structure. Leather, fabric and TPU round out the sneaker package for a laid-back, layered look. 

Metallic Gold comes into play on the tongue logo, the metal eyelet, speckling along the midfoot shank and a small Jumpman near the midfoot. The heel of one shoe reads: “Non Desistas” in gold. The other shoe: “Non Exieris.” Translation from Latin? “Never give up,” which is also tattooed on the NBA star. 

The finely tuned traction pattern mixed all the shades of blue-green in semi-translucent rubber.
