At first glance, this sneaker resembles a mashup of the Kobe 6 Protro and the Ja 1 — but upon closer inspection, you'll see it can stand on its own. With a forefoot Zoom Air unit paired with full-length Nike React foam, this shoe is designed for players with quick acceleration and cutting on both ends of the court.
Pale, lightweight mesh covers most of the upper. You'll notice the mesh takes on fun patterns — these are inspired by traditional Romanian art and architecture. Along the lateral side panel, you'll see the black outline of a Swoosh. The Swoosh is all black on the medial side and shifted onto the side heel.
On the muted tongue, you'll see an "S" — Sabrina's new logo. This sits below a midfoot band system with lockdown cables to help keep the foot secured as you launch for a jump shot.
There's more detailing on the toe guard, which features a tiny "20" — the point guard's number with the Liberty. There's also Sabrina's signature on the heel, complete with a dot above her name for authentic Romanian pronunciation.
Finishing off the shoe is the rubber outsole which includes a mix of multi-directional traction patterns to help you dig in on the court.
Because this shoe has such a muted palette, it'll go with all your game-day gear. Throw it on with gray basketball shorts and your team's jersey to look fresh and ready to deliver.
As the first women's basketball player to deliver a unisex signature collection, Sabrina is more than proving her dominance on and off the court. Become part of history when you grab the Nike Sabrina 1 “Ionic" in unisex sizes when it drops on August 3, online and at your local Hibbett | City Gear.
