Nike KD 4 "MVP" Launching 02/16 Colorway: SUMMIT WHITE/HYPER ROYAL/METALLIC GOLD Style: Men's Basketball Shoe

Kevin Durant and Nike are dropping a certified classic just in time for All-Star Weekend — a new colorway of the Nike KD 4.

The Nike KD 4 "MVP" pays tribute to KD’s unforgettable 2013-14 MVP season, when he averaged 35.9 points per game and scored a career-high 54 points in a game against the Golden State Warriors. Dressed in Summit White, Hyper Royal, and Metallic Gold, this kick looks nearly as fire as Durant’s Most Valuable Player trophy. It'll be dropping in men's sizes on February 16.

Originally designed by Leo Chang in 2011, the KD 4 was a game-changer, introducing the Adaptive Fit system with a midfoot strap for a locked-in feel, paired with Hyperfuse construction for breathability and durability. On this particular colorway, the lockdown strap is crafted in Summit White leather, as is the rest of the upper.

The most eye-catching element is the oversized golden KD tongue logo. In the middle of the "D" is a 3D golden basketball that looks like it came right off an MVP trophy.

There's more sleek gold and white KD branding on the heel, as well as other messaging touches throughout. The insoles feature the now-iconic phrase "You The Real MVP," a heartfelt nod to Durant’s emotional speech dedicated to his mother, Wanda.

The words “Love” and “Faith” are embossed on the blue midfoot strap eyestays. And when you open the strap up, you'll see another personalized message on the underside reading: "We weren't supposed to be here. You made us believe. You sacrificed for us." Even the golden lace tips reflect KD’s journey to the top, as they're printed with "The Real MVP" in black.
