Bad Bunny and adidas are no strangers to working together. The Puerto Rican rapper has teamed up with adidas several times in the past to release Latin-inspired kicks.
His latest drop, the Bad Bunny x adidas Forum Buckle, comes with a white suede upper. It was recently teased at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade, with a whole crew of red-suited partiers donning the white kicks. Not to mention, there was even a heart float (the logo from his Un Verano Sin Ti album) also wearing the sneakers. If you’re feeling the vibe, you can get these shoes in men’s sizes on December 10.
The good news — adidas hasn’t changed anything except the color when it comes to this new white Forum. So if you were in love with the previous releases, this one should also warm your heart. Off-white suede covers most of the upper, with slightly tonal overlays around the toe box, middle and heel.
Of particular note are the Three Stripes in a light gray suede across the middle. On top of this — and true to the shoe’s name — a lock-down strap with a grayish buckle makes sure your foot doesn’t go anywhere. This strap connects over somewhat off-white laces and a similarly hued tongue.
For even more lockdown support, there’s a heel toggle that lets you tighten things up around the back of the shoe. Beneath that is a milky off-white midsole with adidas Trefoil branding on the lateral heel. Thick and wide stitches keep this attached to the upper.
Beneath this is a gray rubber outsole with a few extra bits of branding. You’ll see two more adidas logos in the milky middle insert. There’s also a transparent yellow traction circle toward the forefoot. Inside this is the Bad Bunny logo, complete with crossed-out eyes and oversized ears.
When wearing these, you could take notes from the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade folk and go full sweatsuit — red or otherwise. We also think they’d look fresh with a pair of casual jeans and a T-shirt.
