The Air Jordan 1 Elevate Low “Lucky Green” women’s shoe drops December 8 at Hibbett | City Gear.
It may not be St. Patrick’s Day, but that’s not stopping Jordan from releasing a new lucky charm. The Air Jordan 1 Elevate Low “Lucky Green” celebrates all things Irish with a Lucky Green and white leather base. It might look a tad familiar — that’s because it’s basically the low version of the AJ 1 Retro High that dropped back in 2020. Like that shoe, this new variant will be available in women’s sizes.
Michael Jordan battled a lot against Larry Bird and the Boston Celtics throughout his career, but it looks like he’s putting the past behind him with this release. The white leather upper features emerald Lucky Green overlays around the toe box, eyestays and heel. Across the middle, there’s also a black Swoosh overlay that is stitched up to the ankle.
A black tongue and black laces add some startling contrast. The tongue itself is absent of branding — rare for a Jordan shoe — but there is some red contrast stitching that adds accents.
The insole is an interesting faux-wood parquet floor pattern that features black and green Nike Air branding. Moving to the heel, it’s also absent of branding. However, there is a small Jumpman beneath on the bright white outsole.
Perhaps the reason this shoe is light on MJ touches is because of the bling. Silver charms hang on a silver chain that attaches just under the eyestay and on the side of the heel. On this chain are four magical charms — the number “23”, a Jumpman, the year “1986” and a four-leaf clover.
Beneath this is the chunky white midsole, and beneath that is a Lucky Green-edged outsole. All in all, this shoe needs to be your go-to footwear for St. Patrick’s Day or attending a Celtics game. Pair it with black leggings and your favorite green jersey to look like you’re embracing the luck o’ the Irish.
These shoes are a true pot of gold, so make sure you don’t miss out. The Jordan 1 Elevate Low “Lucky Green” will be available in women’s sizes starting December 8, online and at your local Hibbett | City Gear. If your luck runs out and you aren’t able to grab them in time, don’t worry! Our sneaker launch calendar has plenty of other shoes you can snatch up when the time is right.
