Take a walk on the wild side with the latest, most fierce drop from adidas. The adidas NMD is back with a grey “Animal Print” motif. The adidas sneaker will be out in a unisex size, featuring shades of “Ash,” “Mgh Solid Grey” and “Core Black.”

While we’re used to a spate of cheerful tones from adidas’ collab with the “Happy” singer Pharrell Williams, this adidas Originals x Pharrell Williams Hu NMD “Animal Print” shoe gets a more austere colorway with the grey and black tones.

Grey Primeknit material sets the stage for prominent dark grey and black cheetah-like spots that polka-dot the upper. The “HU” in the shoe’s title is Pharrell’s nod to the human race, and this nature-inspired pattern seems to extend the silhouette toward the animal kingdom as well.

TPU cages anchored on either side of the foot form the lacing system, with grey and white tubular laces running horizontally to effectively tighten the shoe while achieving a streamlined look.

Pattern aside, wearers will find plenty to love in this true minimalist lifestyle sneaker. A grey Boost midsole allows for comfy wear, softening over time to create a custom fit and feel. Translucent TPU lugs along the midsole contribute to the support and stability of the sneaker. A black rubber outsole with honeycomb-like cutouts exposes the Boost foam while providing just the right amount of tread and traction — nothing more, nothing less.
