The Reebok Answer DMX OG black, white and gold colorway looks sleek and stunning in a full leather upper. It’s dropping on November 18 in men’s sizes.

We’ve already seen one OG Reebok Answer DMX colorway emerge earlier this year—the Answer DMX white, Laser red and black. Now, it looks like Reebok is going all in on the 25th anniversary of the shoe with another OG thriller.

The majority of the upper is covered with a tumbled black leather overlay. That covers up the top half of the shoe, including the eyestays, toe, ankle and top heel. Beneath that is a thin strip of white leather, but it’s mostly taken up by another layer of black leather beneath. There’s also a gold and black mesh print overlay that wraps around the bottom heel and heads toward the middle. On the lateral side, you’ll see a white stitched Reebok logo in this space. Also on the lateral heel is the golden I3 emblem.

There’s more golden detailing around the tongue. Two golden Reebok patches line each side of the laces. Underneath is a black tongue with “Iverson” stitched in white and gold. At the top of the tongue, you’ll see Reebok in gold thread. Don’t forget to check behind the tongue! There, you’ll see a message celebrating Iverson’s Rookie of the Year campaign.

The chunky white midsole features two golden panels that add beautiful visual contrast. But the real star of the show is the black crystal rubber outsole with metallic gold flecks. Golden traction circles under foot keep you locked in the zone whether you’re on the court or dodging puddles on the sidewalk.

Though they’re steeped in basketball lore, the Answer really isn’t the solution to your basketball needs in the current day. Instead, we’d recommend using them as lifestyle shoes paired with distressed jeans and a graphic tee. Bonus points if you can find a retro Iverson shirt.
