The highly anticipated Air Jordan 37 “Black/White/Hot Punch” men’s and grade school kids’ basketball shoe hits stores December 1 at Hibbett | City Gear.
The Jordan 37 in black and white keeps things simple with slight red and grey accents. You can add this basketball shoe to your arsenal starting December 1 in men’s and grade school kids’ sizes.
The strong and lightweight upper is made of black leno weave fabric that’s meant to feel like you’ve got your feet taped up. In other words, you get great support but without any heaviness. You may notice this upper takes a bit of inspiration from the exoskeleton look of the AJ 7.
Beneath the upper, the chunky white midsole features beveled edges that make it look almost like a milky jewel. There’s a translucent grey heel clip that offers a bit of added support — not to mention the Formula 23 foam packed in that delivers comfort on every jump shot. The heel guard also has a bit of branding — a red Jumpman on the lateral edge, along with AJ⋮VII etched along the top.
Above this heel guard is a black heel tab with several fun flourishes. You’ll see MJ’s signature running vertically in white and another red Jumpman at the top.
The black tongue is noticeably absent of branding, but “AJ XXXVII” is written in red at the medial edge of the toe box. There’s also another red Jumpman on the black insole. Finally, the light blue and black outsole offers the on-court traction you need to score big.
With mid-level ankle support, this shoe would look great paired with crew socks and your favorite baggy b-ball shorts. Throw on a red jersey to look like you belong alongside His Airness.
The Jordan 37 in black and white isn’t a bold offering, but it is a sexy one. Walk in the shoes of the Black Cat when you grab these kicks in men’s and grade school kids’ sizes on December 1, online or at your local Hibbett | City Gear. And if you happen to miss out, don’t forget to check out our other Jordan releases to find an alternative pair.
