The adidas Trae Young 2.0 “Core Black/Team Green” basketball shoe drops in men’s and grade school kids’ sizes November 1 at Hibbett | City Gear.
What better way to usher in the 2022–2023 basketball season than with a fresh new adidas basketball shoe drop? Mark your calendars and watch your app for the November 1 launch of the adidas Trae Young 2.0 kicks.
“Ice Trae” is cool as a cuke on court, with a superhuman-like agility few can match. The Trae Young 2.0 basketball shoe is the second iteration of Young’s signature sneaks — a similarly aerodynamic upper structure bolstered with chunkier midsole and outsole features to create ground-gripping traction throughout practice and game play. Another feature of the Trae Young 2.0? They’re made in part with recycled production waste.
The laceless closure means no tripping over untied shoes, while a tightly knit upper gives the fit and feel of a sock, with its elasticized entry at the ankle, offering breathability and an unimpeded range of motion. The upper comes dressed in black with strategic weave textures that include horizontal deep purple lines of embroidery to support the ankle. An adidas Boost midsole offers energy return to the heel for explosive plays and soft landings, with pod-like Lightstrike cushioning to round out the remainder of the midsole. This power duo is both lightweight and comfy underfoot, giving you the tools you need to really move on the court.
The midsole tones move from a serene aqua blue into a Team Solar Green ombre. That neon green composes the outsole’s traction pattern, which mixes both herringbone and concentric circles, with circular windows giving a glimpse of Lightstrike and Boost materials. Black Three Stripes extend from the knit upper before running down the midsole and continuing along the outsole.
