Is LeBron going “Bred”? This newest release from King James’ signature lineup takes on a “Trinity” colorway of black and University Red with hits of light grey and gold metallic.

The Nike LeBron 20 basketball shoe drops November 1 in preschool and grade school kids’ sizes — a perfect companion for playground, gym and school play. Why the “Trinity” moniker? It’s a direct reference to the powerhouse trio of James, Bosh and Wade as they snagged Miami Heat championships.

The “Big Three” kicks also nod to LeBron’s nearly two decades on the court, effectively growing up in the NBA. This sneaker gives young kids the underfoot tools to remain cool, calm and comfortable anywhere they go, just like LeBron.

A soft, comfortable woven upper comes in black with a low cut entry, so little kids can easily slip them on or off as they sharpen their fine motor skills. Elastic laces and a hook and loop strap aid in the putting-on, taking-off process for the smaller ones, while soft foam and a University Red rubber outsole provide both comfort and grip on nearly any surface.

Overlapping Nike Swooshes play along the shoe’s sides — the top one dressed in gold, the bottom, light grey and both with red outlines. Shiny patent leather tongues give the shoe plenty of panache with jewel-like gold XXs appearing in place of traditional LeBron branding.

Though simple in construction and color, these shoes are rich with texture. Light gray outlines the lacing system and sockliner. A stamped-on pattern makes the grey and black midsole stand out. The bright red outsole features a data-driven traction pattern, while small nods to South Beach, like palm leaves, get incorporated throughout the sneaker.
