The adidas x Xbox NMD_V3 “Halo Infinite” men’s shoe drops November 5 at Hibbett | City Gear.
More than 20 years ago, Xbox unleashed the “Halo” franchise, and gaming has never been the same. While this latest “Halo”-inspired pair of sneaks has been delayed, it’s finally launching in late 2022.
Train your eye and set your reminders for Saturday, Nov. 2, to cop a pair of the tactical-inspired adidas x Xbox NMD_V3 “Halo Infinite” sneakers. Available in men’s sizes, the adidas shoes pay tribute to the 2021 release of the latest “Halo” game.
“Halo” was a natural pairing for the NMD_V3s — a sneaker touted as an urban explorer’s dream. These kicks bring Spartan adventures to life with an otherworldly green sneaker that boasts some of the game’s characters and icons. The modern, streamlined silhouette features a ribbed, knit upper in a light blue-green. Transparent TPU overlays help structure the shoe’s sides, providing an armor against enemies. Black Three Stripes adorn the shoe’s sides, while a black and reflective tongue tab runs from the bottom of the lacing system all the way up, helping to keep the tubular laces in place.
Glimpse “Halo” AI companions/commentators LUMU and FRET hovering around the shoe’s tongue, while multiplayer-mode icons such as Strongholds and Capture-the-Flag appear along the heel clip. The pinnacle UNSC insignia gives the adidas shoe an air of authority. Fresh Boost midsoles will help propel you toward battle victory with The Harbinger, giving you stamina and keeping you light on your feet.
