Looking for last-minute gifts for those hard-to-shop-for family members? Forget the matching jammies. Stuff those stockings for the whole family with what they really want: a pair of Air Jordans.
Beginning December 19, the toddler, preschooler, grade school boy or man in your life can unbox their newest favorite pair of Jordan kicks: The Air Jordan 13 Retro “Hyper Royal.”
A predominantly black upper artfully complements the Hyper Royal for a sneaker that mimics the 2012 Quentin Richardson “Orlando Magic” player-exclusive colorway. Touches of white appear on the shoe’s branding and outsole.
The upper comes clad in a black tumbled leather toe with reflective black mesh stitched on the shoe’s sides. A low-nap Hyper Royal suede composes the remainder of the sneaker for a colorblocked look. The shoe’s signature holographic logo at the ankle gleams bright like a cat eye, while the black feline-like paws that hug the shoe’s outsole help any player prowl the court. A herringbone traction pattern and responsive Zoom Air cushioning in the heel and forefoot contribute to the precision these sneakers offer on and off the paint.
Tinker Hatfield designed the Air Jordan 13s with these cat-like details to hint at Jordan’s stealthy on-court “black cat” persona. After a career filled with the highest of highs, Michael Jordan sported the Air Jordan 13 — which rolled out in 1997 — during his last season with the Chicago Bulls.
Beginning December 19, you or Santa can shop at Hibbett | City Gear to find a pair of the Air Jordan 13 Retro “Hyper Royal” black, white and Hyper Royal kicks in toddler, preschool, grade school and men’s sizes.
