Jump into the new year with a pair of brand new Air Jordan Retro 6 releasing on December 28. Coming in men’s and kids’ sizes – from toddler and preschool to grade school so that you and your little ones can start the new decade in style with a classic look.

These will be the fourth denim sneakers released by Air Jordan. The last was the Air Jordan 4s that enjoyed a Levi’s collab that dropped in 2018, the AJ6s get a fresh spin in the laundry with a Washed Denim, Black Sail and Varsity Red colorway.

Standout features of this color scheme include the lighter denim wash overlaid with dark jean detailing. Sail Black appointments add gravitas to this basketball shoe, featured heavily around the midsole, outsole, lacing system, heel and tongue. The tongue also gets a hit of tan leather embossed with the Jumpman logo.

Varsity Red comes into play at the lacing system toggle, the heel logo and the outsole’s Jumpman logo. The outsole varies black and a translucent white, both of which serve as a backdrop for the oversized Michael Jordan silhouette.

Tinker Hatfield and His Airness designed the OG Nike Air Jordan 6 around Jordan’s love for things fast and elegant like his German sports car. With that, they went to work to create a sneaker that was both simple yet elegant and created the first Jordan 6.

The high-top retros are as smooth as the car that inspired them. The upper employs denim and leather – offering versatility whether you’re just chilling or about to show off your skills on the court. Like the OG shoe, perforations stud the retro 6’s upper so the foot can breathe.

A resilient foam midsole delivers impact protection and comfort, while dual Nike Air units (including the visible Air in the heel) provide total cushioning for instaworthy poses. The translucent rubber outsole adds a bit more of that sleek sports-car vibe to this package while delivering traction off-road and on the paint. The toggle lacing system makes stabilizing the foot a cinch, while the neoprene bootie offers a snug, comfy fit.
