Sneakers Release – Jordan 1 High OG “Lucky Green” Women’s and Kids’ Shoe

Oct 5, 2020

In 1986, Michael Jordan lead his Chicago Bulls to double overtime against the Boston Celtics in the NBA playoffs by scoring a whopping 63 points during the game before the Celtics narrowly eked out the win.

This month’s Air Jordan 1 High OG launch shoe gets its inspiration from that record-setting game. Fans can capture a slice of 80s playoff magic with the “Lucky Green” toddler, preschool and women’s sneaker dropping on October 14 in a white, Sail, Lucky Green and black colorway.

Lucky Green overlays are sewn over white tumbled leather that features raw-edge construction and with unfinished eyestays.

Shiny black Swooshes gracefully curve along the shoes’ sides, anchored by black laces, a black tongue and throat and black lining. A black outsole grounds the basketball shoe. Red accents like the Jordan Brand‘s iconic Wings logo, Nike Air branding on the tongue, and a red-and-white accent located at the heel punctate the Celtic’s-themed upper.

A peek at the insole reveals insoles designed to resemble a polished parquet court. A Sail-colored midsole rounds out the retro court vibe of this “Lucky Green” sneaker.

Features like the heel’s Air-Sole unit, supportive cupsole and traction-enhancing outsole also appear on the latest rendition of this Peter Moore-designed fan favorite.
