Another must-have for July is the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG sneaker, arriving July 11 in a super-chill “Light Smoke Grey” palette. The colorway incorporates white, black, Light Smoke Grey and Varsity Red and comes in both grade school kids’ and men’s shoe sizes.
More than three decades after its initial debut, the Air Jordan 1 OG still rules the sneaker world. Designed by Nike’s Peter Moore, this retro version of the Jordan sneaker keeps its classic design. White full-grain leather uppers offer the shoe its signature vintage style, with large, breathable perforations peppering the toe box.
A Light Smoke Grey suede curls around the shoe’s toe and heel, artfully climbing the lacing system. Black laces criss-cross the shoe’s throat, meeting a Varsity Red leather overlay that circles the high-cut bootie. In addition to bolstering ankle stability, this red overlay incorporates another heritage Jordan color into the shoe, and the iconic Wings logo ties it all together. Black Swooshes adorn the sides, while a black outsole lines the bottom of the sneaker.
Experience the same underfoot comfort as Michael Jordan himself with an Air-Sole unit in the heel, stable and supportive cupsole, rubber tread featuring those deep flex grooves and signature pivot point, and thick-stitch detailing incorporated throughout the sneaker’s design.
