The Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Stealth/White” grade school kids’ shoe drops August 30 at Hibbett | City Gear.
Taking its cues from a 2006 Air Jordan 5 of the same name and a 1985 “Heritage” color treatment, the latest “Stealth” colorway from the Jumpman is a worthy opponent in the late-summer/early-fall Jordan lineup.
The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Stealth” sneakers drop August 30 at Hibbett | City Gear in grade school kids’ sizes. Silvery Stealth grey and white inform this sneaker package — a versatile offering for school-age kids to wear during and after school. This Peter Moore-designed Jordan 1 Highs originally launched in 1985, but the high cut AJ 1 didn’t get released again until 2008.
The crisp white leather upper keeps this shoe both timeless and modern, the perfect neutral pick that easily finishes any fit, including a school uniform. Stealth-colored tumbled leather dresses the toe box, along with the laces, ankle collar, sockliner, heel, outsole and Swooshes. The Nike Air logo lands in white embroidery on the high cut tongue, with a tonal grey Wings logo appearing on the ankles.
Well into its fourth decade, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG still reigns supreme, offering the same reliable premium materials, Air-Sole cushioning and cupsole construction that captured young audiences in the mid-’80s.
