The Jordan 1 Retro High OG “True Blue/White/Cement Grey” colorway drops in men’s, grade school, preschool and toddler sizes January 14 at Hibbett | City Gear.
The Air Jordan 1 was the shoe that started it all. And while we’ve seen plenty of blue and white colorways over the years, we’ve never seen something quite like this latest release.
The Jordan 1 High OG “True Blue” comes in True Blue, Cement Grey and white. This is the first time we’ve had an official True Blue colorway in the High OG setup, so it’s sure to become a collector item. The good news is, you can grab it in sizing for preschool kids, toddler kids, grade school kids and men starting January 14.
The typical white leather upper is covered with blue and gray overlays throughout. White shines bright at the toe, which features ventilation holes. There’s also white across the middle, very top of the ankle and a thin strip around the heel.
The toe box, eyestays and middle Swooshes are all in blue, while the ankle and heel are in gray. There’s also a blue Air Jordan Wings logo stamped on the lateral ankle of each shoe.
The white tongue is covered by bright blue laces (though the pair comes with a spare white set) that cinch tightly across the ankle, keeping you securely locked in. The top of the tongue features a blue tab with white Nike Air branding. Blue ankle padding lines the inner part of the shoe. It contrasts nicely with the gray insole, which also features blue branding.
Like most Jordans, there’s an all-white midsole that looks clean-cut. Beneath that is a gray outsole featuring standard pivot-circle traction patterns. We think these kicks would look fresh with some tailored black jeans and a gray hoodie. Though you wouldn’t wear them on the court today (there are better basketball shoes now), you could still go for a sport-inspired look with basketball shorts and a plain tee.
You can’t go wrong with the Jordan 1 High OG “True Blue.” The color combo is a classic, and it’ll match nearly all your gear. Grab it in preschool kids’, toddler kids’, grade school kids’ and men’s sizes on January 14, online or at your local Hibbett | City Gear. And if you happen to miss out, check out our other hot Jordan releases before they’re gone as well.
