The Jordan 14 Retro “Light Ginger” men’s shoe drops August 17 at Hibbett | City Gear.

The Jordan brand has had some killer releases throughout the years, so it makes sense that they would re-release a few of those bangers. Case in point, the brand is revitalizing one of its original 1999 colorways.

The Air Jordan Retro 14 “Ginger” designed by Tinker Hatfield may not be as popular as some of MJ’s other signature shoes, but it still deserves some time in the spotlight. This release—which we haven’t seen in 23 years—will be debuting on August 17 in men’s sizes.

The shoe is covered with Ginger nubuck leather that covers the sides and heel. The toe cap is layered in a white overlay that looks crisp and clean. There’s a small black Jumpman right at the base of the laces.

Black laces cover the all-black tongue, which features Ginger branding. The word “Jordan” runs across the top edge of the tongue. The back of the tongue features “XIV” in the same Ginger tone. Along the back of the shoe is a vertical black overlay featuring more branding. A narrow “23” glows in white, and above that is a white Jumpman soaring through the air.

At the ankle, there’s a Ferrari-inspired Jumpman badge that’s shield-shaped. Beneath this, it’s hard to miss the bright white midsole white shark teeth shapes at the toe. Beneath that, a black midsole featured a XIV crest and a white Jumpman offers decent traction.

This shoe is meant to feel slick and sleek like a sports car, so we recommend channeling that vibe with the rest of your outfit. Lux metallic fabrics or clean-cut joggers will help you look as sophisticated as this colorway.
