It’s been a while since we’ve seen such a highly anticipated Air Jordan 2 Retro release. But as we move into February, we’re thanking our lucky stars for the latest offering from the Jumpman.
The appropriately named “Lucky Green” shoe drops February 3, well ahead of springtime festivities and St. Patty’s Day. These wear-all-year kicks are as fresh as a bar of Irish Spring soap with their oh-so-crisp colorway, innovative textures and enduring appeal.

This year we anticipate the Jordan brand ramping up its AJ 2 offerings, and we’re here for it. This particular sneaker edition begins with a smooth white leather upper featuring a neat row of perforations curving from the midfoot around the toe. A white reptile-skin overlay outlined in both black and a Celtics-toned Lucky Green adds depth to the sides of the shoe while anchoring a portion of the lacing system. Sail-colored eyelets also accent the top of the foot, tying into the Sail-toned midsole.
The lucky streak continues with a plush green sockliner and the Air Jordan basketball tongue badge. The standout feature of this shoe is its heel counter, with Nike stitched in black and green pleating, which meets the generously sized Sail midsole for stability. Grey, green and Sail intersect along the shoe’s sturdy rubber outsole.
