The Jordan 5 Retro “Black/Racer Blue/Reflect Silver” colorway drops on February 12 in men’s, grade school, preschool and toddler sizes.

Since the Air Jordan 5 is celebrating its 32nd anniversary this year, it seems only fitting that a new retro colorway is dropping. At first glance, you may notice this Jordan 5 looks kind of like a mashup of the popular “Stealth” and “Oreo” colorways, but with even more blue accents. Like the “Oreo,” the upper is mostly black suede with translucent white mesh profile windows along the lateral and medial sides.

Beneath this, you’ll notice a blue midsole with a transparent sole unit at the heel. At the forefoot, the sole transitions to a blend of black and white.

Black laces cover a 3M reflective silver tongue with embroidered blue Jumpman branding. You’ll also see a blue lace toggle which helps to keep your fit secure as you strut down the street. The back of the tongue is lined with the same blue found throughout the shoe and features a small Air Jordan tag.

There are a few more places you’ll find blue Jumpman branding. One is at the heel, where the embroidered MJ flies eternally toward the hoop. The other is underfoot on the translucent outsole, which will be cool to show off as you kick back and put your feet up at the end of the day.
While the Jordan 5 probably isn’t as court-worthy as it once was, it’s still the perfect accessory for showcasing your streetwear style. Pair it with an oversized black hoodie and some baggy silver basketball shorts to look baller everywhere you go. Don’t forget the crew socks to really play up the ’90s retro look.
