The Jordan 6 Retro “Magnet/College Navy” shoe drops in men’s and grade school kids’ sizes September 3 at Hibbett | City Gear.
Move out of the way, Tar Heels! The Hoyas are in the building and getting their own unique Jordan colorway just in time for fall athletics. Beginning September 3, the Air Jordan 6 Retros will drop in a “Georgetown” colorway featuring Magnet gray and College Navy tones.
Whether you’re carefully sidestepping the Georgetown seal in Healy Hall, chilling at Cooper Field with your favorite Hoya hopefuls or attending an alum weekend with your best buds from college, the Air Jordan 6 Retros will give you a heady dose of school spirit. Cop these Jordan kicks in both men’s and grade school kids’ sizes.
While we’ve seen a similar colorway appear on the Air Jordan 1 High 85 Retro earlier this year, this marks a first for the AJ 6 Retro. The mostly suede sneaker takes on the Magnet tone, a beige-gray that looks strikingly like Jack the mascot’s silky bulldog fur. Soft gray midsoles feature College Navy embellishments that tie into the lacing toggle and Jumpman branding for a collegiate look and feel. Translucent overlays frame out the heel’s Air-Sole unit and add traction to the shoe’s outsole.
These kicks will keep grade school kids’ feet (and adults’ too!) cool during big exams or bigger games, thanks to the signature perforations that speckle the shoe’s sides. The race car-spoiler-like tongue rides high, helping protect the top of the foot and the ankle.
Sure, anyone can pair these shoes with your favorite Georgetown University fan gear. The endlessly versatile tones will keep you moving in comfort or style no matter what you’re wearing, though, from men’s denim and hoodies to kids’ athletic shorts and tees.
