After teasing them for months, Zion Williamson finally dropped the all-new Zion 2 back in June. Since then, we’ve seen a number of fresh colorways — but it looks like he’s not stopping yet.

A new black, white and multicolor Zion 2 is on the horizon, and it looks like it draws its inspiration straight from the neon palette of the ’90s. You can grab this shoe starting Sept. 7 in full family sizing, including picks for men, grade school kids, preschool kids and toddler kids.

At first glance, you’ll probably notice the white and black upper. White covers the back half of the perforated upper, while the toe, tongue and ankle are all primarily black, with a mesh construction in the toe box. But when you start looking closer, you’ll quickly see all the color this shoe has to offer.

Multicolor squiggly lines cover the quarter overlay as well as the forefoot lockdown strap. These squiggly lines continue up the eyestays in shades of purple, blue, green, red and yellow. It looks as if an artist has had a stroke of madness and splayed paint across the top of the shoe.

This colorful play stays grounded with a black tongue and black laces. While there’s white Zion branding on the tongue, the Zion branding on the black insole glows in a deep red. It’s no surprise to see a black Jumpman on the heel—after all, while these are part of Zion’s signature line, they’re released by Jordan Brand. Beneath that, there’s a red insert that’s slightly different on each shoe. The left one advertises the shoe’s Air Strobel unit, while the right one simply reads “Let’s Dance.”

A white midsole gives way to a black outsole with a bit of flair. There’s one final multicolor emblem in the traction that your opponents will get a good look at as you step over them on your way to the basket.

These kicks would look great on the court during your next big game, so pair them with some black basketball shorts and a neon, ’90s-inspired T-shirt. And don’t forget your crew socks—perhaps in a matching neon color to keep the fun going. Why live life inside the lines when you can color your own story? The Jordan Zion 2 in multicolor, black and white lets you express yourself to the fullest. It drops on September 7 in men’s, grade school kids’, preschool kids’ and toddler kids’ sizes, online and at your local Hibbett | City Gear.
