Sneakers Release – Jordan 6 Retro “White/Pure Platinum/Mint Foam” Women’s Shoe Launching March 8

The Jordan 6 Retro “White/Pure Platinum/Mint Foam” women’s shoe drops March 8 at Hibbett | City Gear.

For years, women had to watch from the sidelines as men got all the Jordan drops. Now, they’re finally getting cool releases of their own in retro styles. The women’s Air Jordan 6 “Mint Foam” is hitting stores with a cool, clean palette of white, Pure Platinum and Mint Foam.

The perforated upper features a Pure Platinum color, giving it a subtle light gray tone. Over this are strategically placed white leather overlays that cut across the middle and wrap the entire ankle and heel. The white ankle padding has numerous perforations as well to keep you cool even under pressure.

The Pure Platinum tongue has two rectangular cutouts with a metallic silver lace toggle featuring the Jumpman himself. Above this, you’ll see the words “Air Jordan” spelled out inside of each other. So where does the titular Mint Foam come into play? You’ll see it as an accent in four main locations: the midsole, the heel, the outsole and the insole. On the midsole, it appears in jagged shapes on the lateral edge. There’s a small outline of Mint Foam on the medial edge around the Air unit.

Mint Green appears on the heel tab, as well as on the Jumpman on the otherwise translucent and white sole. There’s also an embroidered Jumpman on the back of the heel that looks to be in a slightly lighter version of the color. Finally, there’s a Mint Green Jumpman on the Pure Platinum insole.

As one of the shoes released the year MJ won his first championship ring, the Jordan 6 is a style you can’t go wrong with, especially in this light-toned colorway. Because it keeps things relatively monochromatic, you can pair it with jeans or leggings for a chill vibe. Or, take things big with matching mint green or metallic silver socks and a T-shirt.
