Why go with a basic neutral when you can have big, bold and brash? That’s exactly what this latest men’s basketball shoe asks: Why not? Beginning July 15, pair your passion for the game with the perfect summer basketball shoe. The brand-new Jordan Why Not? Zer0.3 SE comes in an “Atomic Orange” edition, featuring Melon Tint, Atomic Orange and Hyper Crimson. Find it in men’s sizes.
Amplify your game with a Jumpman-branded shoe built for Houston Rockets’ player Russell Westbrook. The Why Not? Zer0.3 SE unapologetically goes where no other Jordan shoe has gone before. It zigs and zags. Its colors clash instead of complement. Its materials come together in patchwork fashion. Because, well, why not?
The shoe features an all-over Atomic Orange upper, mellowed with Melon Tint accents on the tongue and heel pull tabs, laces and outsole. Hyper Crimson plays out along the shoe’s sides, while ovular teal lacing cables and other more subtle hits of teal balance out the electric palette. Sure, there’s plenty of glitz here, but this sneaker also has some advanced tech contained within. First up, the Zoom Air unit, positioned beneath the forefoot, curves with the foot’s shape to ensure explosive play and incredible responsiveness. While the deconstructed, dual-layer upper is a striking design element — to put it mildly — it also offers strategic stability and breathability for optimal comfort.
This SE edition ditches the midfoot strap and lowers the collar to give the shoe an even lighter feel. The shoe’s white zig-zag midsole resembles the upper, while a molded teal plastic piece bisects the outsole for precision and enhanced agility. The Melon Tint-colored outsole includes a cored-out herringbone traction pattern for optimal grip. David Cin, the shoe’s designer, also incorporated flashy details like an external size tag, color-shifting materials and optical illusions to drive home the one-of-a-kind attitude this basketball sneaker brings to the game.
Beginning July 15, pick up a pair of Jordan Why Not? Zer0.3 SE sneakers in the Melon Tint, Atomic Orange and Hyper Crimson color palette. Shop the men’s shoes online or at your local Hibbett | City Gear.
