The world has been waiting with bated breath for LeBron James’ new LeBron 19 release. He teased the fresh kick in the recent “Space Jam: A New Legacy” movie by wearing two different versions of the shoe. Both of those colorways were big and bold to match the vibe of the film, which had some people thinking the rest of the line would follow suit.

But more recently, King James debuted an all-black colorway of the LeBron 19 during a practice session. Its subdued tones meshed well with his black and gray sport attire and are a better option for those who are color-averse.

These hints of what’s to come aren’t the only thing on deck. It looks like LeBron has at least two more colorways planned: one for men and one for grade school kids. Word on the street is that the kids’ colorway will be in a black and University Red scheme.

From what we’ve seen of the LeBron 19 so far, expect a look that’s both futuristic and space-age. The shoe’s designers were heavily inspired by LeBron’s involvement in the Space Jam film, so they wanted something that would match its electronic, alien vibe. A see-through textile upper offers superior breathability for those who give it their all on the court like James. This is split up by an overlay panel that flows up from the midfoot to the laces.

Inside the shoe, you’ll love the double-chambered Air Max unit in the heel. There’s also a new Zoom Air forefoot unit. Both combine to create a better ride on the court — something that James requested.

Based on the leaked images of the black version of this shoe, we think it will look sick in black and red.
