The Nike Dunk High Retro Premium EMB “Mantra Orange/Sail/Burnt Sunrise” men’s shoe launches May 6 at Hibbett | City Gear.

Nearly everyone recognizes the familiar leathery skin of a basketball. Now, you’ll be able to walk around with this texture on your feet, spreading basketball love wherever you go.

The new basketball-themed Nike Dunk High Retro understood its assignment. It pays tribute to both the NBA and WNBA by mimicking the look and feel of a regulation basketball with a mix of Mantra Orange, Sail and Burnt Sunrise.

A two-tone orange upper offers brightness. A smooth, slightly darker leather covers the base, while textured lighter leather overlays cover the toe box, ankle and heel counter and lace eyestays.

Across the lateral middle is a white Swoosh, while the medial middle has a black Swoosh. These black and white lines connect on the heel of each shoe and culminate in a white heel tab. Orange laces cover a satin orange tongue, which features a white tab complete with black Nike branding. On the backside of the tongue, you’ll see the logos of both the NBA and WNBA as proof of the collab.

A slightly off-white midsole keeps things crisp without being too stark. Beneath that, a classic orange outsole offers the beloved traction that’s made this shoe a star on both the hardwood and skateboard in the past.

While you can’t dribble these shoes, you can dribble in them (though we’d probably suggest other basketball shoes for getting your game on). Look the part of a full baller with casual basketball shorts, black crew socks and a T-shirt. They’d also look sick with jeans and a jersey if you’re looking to cheer your team on during game day.
