The Nike Dunk Low Retro BTTYS “Oregon” men’s shoe drops February 15 at Hibbett | City Gear. The 2023 Dunk collection is looking strong, and the first drop in the infamous “Be True to Your School” kick is beautifully bright.

The Nike Dunk Low Retro “Reverse Brazil” in Apple Green, Yellow Strike and white is the inverse of the 2001 “Brazil” colorway. While that original design returned in 2020, this is the first time we’ve seen this color combo since then. Fans of the Oregon Ducks will also notice a stunning similarity to their team’s colors — making this the perfect spirit shoe for cheering on the team at a home game.

A bright green leather base covers the upper. There are the familiar ventilation holes in the toe box, along with overlays in all the usual places. Bright yellow leather wraps the toe box, sweeps from the ankle to the heel and adorns the eyestays. There’s also the yellow Swoosh stitched in place across the middle.

Bright yellow laces contrast nicely with the green tongue. At the tongue branding, there’s a yellow patch featuring a green Nike logo. This same motif is repeated on the green insole, but in yellow. You’ll see more branding at the heel. A yellow leather patch features “Nike” embroidered in green. Beneath that, horizontal green stitching adds visual contrast between the two yellow overlays.

All of this sits atop a white midsole that’s stitched in place with white thread. Beneath that is the typical rubber outsole in the same bold green as the rest of the shoe. Pivot circles at the forefoot and Nike branding at the midfoot round off the shoe’s design.

While the Dunk Low used to be the go-to shoe for college hoops, it’s now been crowned the king of street fashion. Like we said above, wear this with your Ducks jersey and jeans on game day. Or, if you’re feeling fresh, throw them on with white crew socks, black basketball shorts and a green hoodie for your chill day off.
