Nike continues to churn out Nike Dunk Low releases like they’re going out of style. Spoiler alert: they’re not. This latest release pays tribute to one of the NCAA’s more well-known teams – the Georgetown Hoyas.

The new Nike Dunk Low Retro “Georgetown” colorway releases on October 15 in a Wolf Grey and Dark Obsidian scheme that perfectly matches the school’s primary colors. Loyal fans can cop the colorway in men’s sizes in just enough time to break them in before the regular season begins.

This kick is returning to the model’s “Be True To Your School” ad campaign roots, where all shoes featured a duo-chromatic color scheme. Here, the main part of the leather upper is in Wolf Grey, including the toe box, middle, tongue and part of the heel. The rest is covered with Dark Obsidian overlays that wrap around the toe, ankle, lace guard and heel. A Dark Obsidian Swoosh blazes across the middle.

White also plays a small part in this shoe’s design. A white midsole runs around the base of the shoe, white embroidered white Nike branding on the tongue and heel pops. There’s one unexpected burst of color here on the insole. You’ll notice Total Orange Nike branding, which adds a bit of flair. Just don’t let Syracuse fans see it.

Other than this fresh color update, this Nike Dunk Low is the same one you’ve loved since the ’80s. A low profile keeps you comfy and relaxed in your role as a trendsetter. The color palette on this one makes it versatile enough to pair with anything, but it would look best with your matching Georgetown jersey and a pair of navy basketball shorts.
