Kyrie Irving soars among the stars of the NBA, and the latest Nike Kyrie Irving sneaker release plays up a lunar theme, complete with heavenly bodies and celestial colors.
This NBA Playoffs season, train your eyes toward the Nike Kyrie Low 3 in a “Moon” colorway featuring icy blue, inky black and stardust white launching on September 10 in men’s sizes.
A gravity-defying white and black mesh twinkles along the toe box of this Nike basketball shoe. The mesh gives way to the shoe’s black synthetic material and nubuck, interrupted by a scribbled-on, embroidered white Swoosh. The black cable lacing system helps lock the foot down with assistance from the textural, all-seeing-eye-logo TPU midfoot strap.
The shoe’s heel has a crescent moon and star logo that glows blue against the black backdrop of a nubuck night sky. The low cut entry into the sneaker gives a natural, sock-like feel, offering any player the perfect amount of flexibility to quickly change directions on the court.
A thick, white sculpted foam midsole orbits the sneaker for smooth transitions from heel to toe. Zoom Air cushioning located in the forefoot and heel gives the ideal balance of springy energy return for stargazers and bball players alike.
To lighten up the upper’s nighttime-sky aesthetic, the shoe’s underside is swathed in a translucent glacier blue that partially extends up the sidewalls. A constellation of tiny seeded lines gives the rubber outsole its quick-stop grip.
Nike’s Ben Nethongkome designed Kyrie’s sneaker in their third Low iteration, and fans can expect to see more from this line in the coming months. The Nike Kyrie Low 3 sneaker’s streamlined silhouette lands online and in-stores at Hibbett | City Gear beginning September 10. Prepare for liftoff with the aqua, black and white “Moon” basketball shoes, which will be available in men’s sizes.
