Sneakers Release – Nike LeBron 17 “James Gang” Black/Multicolor Basketball Shoe

Get to know the superstar a little better with the latest edition of Nike LeBron 17 basketball sneakers. The “James Gang” shoe celebrates LeBron’s wife and three children and will be released February 21 in men’s and grade school kids’ sizes.

The latest sneaker from Nike and LeBron features an unusual pairing of multicolor, confetti-splattered embellishments with retro, monster-like details. The “James Gang” upper comes dressed in black Knitposite material, a durable mashup of heat-molded yarn and Flyknit that’s textural elements of the make it a prime candidate for adding color.

Neon yellow, blue, orange and green get interwoven in wavelike fashion along the shoe’s sides and at the heel for a marbled effect. “James Gang” is stitched on the tongue in a playful 80s-retro font. Inspired by the Friday the 13th franchise, the insole features “LeBron James 23 Part XVII” in the same font style as the movie. A bloody Swoosh can also be found on the inside of the tongue, while the tongue’s outer side reveals the LeBron James lion logo with illuminated red eyes.

While this shoe is big on style, it also gets a huge boost from its tremendous features. LeBron requires a basketball shoe that provides explosive energy return and supreme cushioned comfort. The hybrid cushioning system of the LeBron 17 includes a tall, visible Max Air unit and visible maximum-volume Zoom Air units.

The heel’s blue Max Air unit gets a speckled-paint finish alongside its clear bubble. A resilient foam midsole helps provide added responsiveness and comfort, while soft foam pods located under the Max Air unit bolster the heel’s cushioning.

Other standout features on this shoe include a wide, stitched collar and heel tabs. Foot-hugging, stabilizing plastic clips wrap around the heels of the sneaker, and a web-like traction pattern runs the length of the white rubber outsole for exceptional grip in gym class, the classroom and in the driveway for afternoon hoops.
