LeBron James subtly teased the latest LeBron 18 while sporting a version of the shoe in the gym in mid-September. And while many LeBron 17 colorways have dropped this past year, we’re excited to see the next big thing to come from King James and Nike Basketball.

Officially debuting on October 9, the Nike LeBron 18 “James Gang” sneakers will roll out in a black, Pink Blast and multicolor palette for men and kids. You’ll be able to find the shoes in toddler, preschool, grade school and men’s sizes online and in-stores at your local Hibbett | City Gear.

A nod to his personal James Gang (Savannah, Bronny, Bryce and Zhuri) in this colorful edition, James wanted a sneaker that honed in on extra cushioning and would deliver on his expectation of speed and power.

This shoe symbolizes the King’s journey into the world of superstardom, both on the court and with Nike. The forefoot of the LeBron 18 shoe sits low to the ground, while the heel area stacks higher, offering optimal liftoff and shock-absorbing landings.

At the heel, a full-length Zoom Air Bag integrates with an Air Max unit, replacing traditional foam and bolstering Air at the point of impact. Where the 17 employed Knitposite and the 15 used Battleknit, the LeBron 18 combines the best of the best. A blend of TPU and high-tenacity yarns combine with Battleknit for a lightweight upper that withstands the pressures of play. A cable system extends from the laces down to the midsole to boost the shoe’s custom fit and feel.

Another interesting feature in this dynamic basketball shoe? The tongue employs a non-pressurized air pocket rather than traditional foam. Underfoot, the reimagined, generative traction pattern fulfills James’ vision of power, speed and precision.
