Sneakers Release – Nike N7 Spring 2022 Multi-Shoe Release Launching 3/22

Mar 16, 2022

The Nike N7 Spring 2022 collection arrives at Hibbett | City Gear March 22 and features new colorways for the Nike Air Force 1 Low, Nike Free Crater Trail Moc, and Nike Kyrie Infinity.

The new Nike N7 collection (Nike’s initiative that supports Native American and Indigenous youth across the nation) features a biodiverse twist on three of the brand’s most popular silhouettes: the Air Force 1 Low, the Nike Kyrie Infinity and the Nike Free Crater Trail Moc. Each of these N7 shoes features renewable materials like cork and natural fibers to pay homage to various native tribes.

The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Woven Cork” is covered in a tan suede upper that mimics the look of an animal hide. Along the middle is a woven panel featuring a cork and blue, green and yellow fiber design. On top is a large suede Swoosh. You’ll see N7 branding on a yellow tongue patch, along with an embossed Nike Air logo on a suede patch on the heel. Nike Grind beige midsoles and brown outsoles help this shoe be a little more eco-friendly.

The Kyrie Infinity 8 N7 colorway pays tribute to Kyrie Irving’s Lakota heritage with special branding on the tongue. The word “Hela” — Kyrie’s Lakota name — stands out in blue, green and yellow letters. Beneath that is “Standing Rock,” which is the name of Kyrie’s Sioux tribe. The rest of the shoe is a monochromatic tan color with patches of leather and mesh materials. There’s a cornflower blue Swoosh outlined on the ankle, along with green N7 branding at the heel.

The unisex Free Crater Trail Moc is perhaps the most Indigenous-inspired shoe, with a tan suede and leather upper that feels genuine. At the heel is a woven cork and green, yellow and blue fiber pattern identical to what’s on the Air Force 1. This design wraps around the medial side and extends to the midfoot. Also on the medial ankle is a brown patch reading “Seventh Generation.” Other branding includes a brown Nike Swoosh on the lateral middle and a white N7 patch on the tongue.

With the natural, earthy tones of these shoes, they’d look best with outfits of a similar vibe. Try pairing them with other woven or wool textiles, or complement them with a leather or suede jacket.

When you choose the N7 colorways of the Air Force 1 in men’s sizes, Kyrie Infinity in men’s sizes and Free Crater Trail Moc in unisex sizes, you’re showing your support for Native American and Indigenous communities throughout North America — all while looking your best. Grab all of these colorways starting March 22, online or at your local Hibbett | City Gear.
